How Route uses AI to assist our work, why a named person reviews every client-facing deliverable, and how we protect client data and keep figures honest.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help with research, drafting and analysis - for example gathering background, summarising material and speeding up early drafts. AI supports our people; it does not replace their judgement, and it does not make decisions on a client's behalf.
A person reviews everything
A named person at Route reviews every client-facing deliverable before it is used. Anything an AI tool helps produce is checked against the source material by someone accountable for it.
We protect client data
We never enter client data or confidential information into AI tools that have not been approved for that purpose. We use only approved tools, under appropriate terms, and we keep each client's information separate.
We do not let AI invent facts
We do not publish figures, sources or quotes that an AI tool has generated without evidence. Every metric we report comes from a named, verifiable source, and we flag uncertainty rather than fill a gap with something invented.
