Darren Davidson
Darren Davidson, our MD first started out in the advertising industry working at ITV in London as an airtime sales assistant, scheduling TV adverts for ITV Tyne Tees. He then moved on to work for large media companies in London including Sky and News UK before founding Route with his business partner Ben Dascombe.
Gateshead-born Darren is passionate about the region. He strongly believes in nurturing young northern talent and proving that you don’t have to go to London to get experience of working at an award-winning media agency – with national and international clients.
As Darren explains: “I’m personally proud to be able to bring on board new local talent to work within the agency. Their enthusiasm is infectious and it’s brilliant to give people the opportunity to learn from the wider team, as well as myself and Ben, and work across a diverse range of exciting accounts.”
